You have a business and you want to increase your sales. Therefore, you need to market your business. So, of course, you have a website. But your website is not worth anything if no one sees it. If you want to get more traffic to your site, you might want to look into do it yourself SEO software.
SEO stands for search engine optimization. Potential customers usually use search engines to find companies in any given industry. For example, if the person lives in Los Angeles and wants to find widgets, he will go to a search engine and type in Los Angeles Widgets.
If your business happens to sell those widgets, you want it to show up as close to the beginning of the search results as possible. It should at least be on the first or second page. So many results usually pop up that your potential customer has no need to look past the first couple of pages.
So what do you do to get your business farther up in the search engine results? One way to do so is to use Search Engine Optimization software. In the past, your only possibility was to hire a programmer or consultant to do it on your behalf. Now, however, you can do it yourself using specialized software.
Do it yourself SEO software helps you get your own Internet marketing campaign going. Once all the processes have been set up, it will only take you a few minutes every day to boost the ranking of your company website in the different search engines.
A lot of companies do the work to set up their website but not to get it seen. But your website does nothing for you if no one sees it. The way to ensure that it is seen is to make it as easy as possible for any potential customers to find you.

EPAct 2005 Tax Deductions – Time Is Running Out

Many businesses have implemented energy efficiency measures in their facilities over the past several years to help decrease operating expenses and aid the local and global environment. What a lot of these companies do not know is that sizeable federal tax deductions are available to them and also that time may be running out.
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005) provides generous, immediate tax deductions to businesses for making energy efficiency improvements to their buildings. The federal tax incentives center mainly on efficiency improvements to lighting, HVAC and building envelopes and can be as large as $1.80 per square foot.
The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 extended Section 179D and EPAct 2005 so the act will not expire until December 31, 2013. However, that does not mean that time may not be running out for some companies.
For businesses that implemented energy efficiency projects in 2006 it is probable they filed their tax returns before April 15, 2007. If they were unaware of the deductions at that time, they are now at risk of losing those tax deductions forever since the IRS only allows a three year period to amend tax returns.
That means if you have not yet amended your 2006 tax return you have only a few months left to do so!
As an electrical contractor working with commercial and industrial customers you certainly have been thinking about ways to increase your sales and likely how to better utilize your current book of business to that end. You have also most likely been approached by your current customers asking what they can do to reduce their energy costs.
Have you thought about a strategic partnership with an experienced engineering firm that specializes solely in turnkey, energy cost reduction projects on a national level? One that can bring whole facility energy solutions to the table for you and your customers? A company that can provide a fast payback and increase cash flow for your customer?
Bringing in such a company will grow your business as you will be the one who is sub-contracted by the engineering firm to provide the installation services under their management and direction. You can use this approach over and over again with all of your customers and doing so will not only increase your revenues exponentially, it will also transform your customers’ impression of you from simply another vendor to that of a valued consultant.

Reducing utility costs is good for the bottom line but there are many other financial benefits to reducing energy consumption.
The US Green Building Council tells us on average a “green building” benefits from:
- 30-50% reduced energy use
- 35% reduced carbon emissions
- 40% reduced water use
- 70% reduced solid waste
So what does that really mean in real value to a business or property owner in terms of value beyond lower utility costs? The following include brief facts illustrating some other, demonstrable benefits of “going green”.
PR Opportunities:
Improving how energy efficient your facility is:
- Protects global resources
- Decreases pollution and emissions generated during the energy production process
- Protects the environment
- Reduces solid waste
Improving the efficiency of your facility:
- Provides you the ideal opportunity to gain constructive, no cost publicity
- Allows you to represent your business in a positive light
- Gives your local community and your marketplace a depiction of your company as a responsible steward of the environment.
Considerable Economic Benefits:
In addition to reducing your energy costs, “going green”:
- Reduces maintenance, replacement and production downtime costs via longer life expectancy of the different loads ranging from lighting systems to HVAC systems to production equipment
- Increases the asset value of the property and enhances profitability
- Improves tenant attraction and retention for building owners and leads to higher
premium tenants and higher-end leases
- Demonstrates the strength and intelligence of your executive team and attracts
clients and investors
- Improves worker productivity and safety and reduces absenteeism and turnover via
improved lighting and indoor air quality and comfort. According to the US Green
Building Council, “green buildings” save $58 billion of sick time and add $180
billion in increased worker productivity annually.
In the end, the decision by a company or organization regarding improving energy efficiency will be based for the most part on cost effectiveness measures such as rate of return on the investment or project cost. Nevertheless, it would be prudent to acknowledge and consider the other aforementioned considerable benefits of “going green” as a part of the decision making process.

At some point during your introduction in the forex market, you will learn about forex trading signals. At first, they may seem a bit confusing. However, once you understand the basic principles in using signals, the benefits will become clearly known. Signals are nothing more than alerts that keep you informed.
A forex signal is an alert that indicates the price of buying and selling forex currencies. There are two types of signals. The first can be defined as the entry and exit signal and second signal which characterized as a general purpose signal and is issued to all interested traders.
These signals help guide your currency investments so you can pour money into a currency that is about to favorably change or pull out of a trade that is about to tank. Having access to these signals can be priceless.
Everyone wants to make money in foreign currencies. Once you understand the fundamentals of using signals and how they help you, it will become a lot easier. Unfortunately, there are no specific books that can give you all of the answers you need.
Profitable trading strategies are born from learning how to interpret and make good investment decisions based on the science of favorable and unfavorable market signals. If you lack experience in using these signals to do trades, you are at a disadvantage.
One way to bypass this development curve is to purchase trading signals from investment firms and brokers. They sell these signals to people who want to make money trading currencies, but lack meaningful insight into trading strategies that yield great returns. This is how plenty of people got their initial start into trading currencies.
Forex signals are not cheap. Upon signing up for service, you will have the option to receive these trading signals delivered to your email account or as an alert message sent to your mobile phone. The signals will have all of the information your need to stay on top of profitable trades.
These forex signals are valuable when you have now idea of what to expect in a specific currency. If market fluctuations are changing which is causing the British pound to unexpectedly plummet and the Euro to take a sudden rise, you will get an email or SMS message alerting you to this activity. This information will help you adjust your accounts accordingly.

While starting a money making blog may not be the easiest thing to do, it won’t be the hardest thing you’ve ever done either!
If you’re just starting out I would suggest you set-up a Blogspot blog. They are free and easy to monetize. Blogspot, also called Blogger, is owned by Google so setting up AdSense is really a snap.
If you are going to try to earn some extra money blogging I would opt for a hosted Wordpress.org blog. Why? Because a hosted blog (from my experience) is easier to rank in the serps (search engine results page.) If you would find it difficult to part with the $10.00 or so monthly for hosting than a Blogger blog is the way to go.
Which ever way you decide to go with, you will have to create content for your new blog. A good way to do this is to pick a niche (the subject of your blog) that you have some knowledge about, or better yet have some real expertise in. Why? Because you will find writing content to be much easier and faster if you don’t have to do any research, you can just write.
You also should keep in mind right from the start (before you choose a niche actually) how you will monetize your blog. Get into your visitors heads and figure out what they want or need, then your job (as an Internet Marketer) is to supply that want or need (for a price of course!) This is how you will turn your little blog into a money making machine!
So you want to work from your home and make some extra money online? There are many ways to accomplish this, but I think starting your own blog is the best way! This way you will have an online presents, and will have to do some writing, (which you had better get used to.)
If you do choose a niche you’re passionate about, you will find like minded people in cyberspace that share your passion. You can then build a community and work within your community to build relationships and even more money making opportunities can unfold for you! That is what making money online is all about, working with people, and showing honesty and integrity in all your online dealings.
Blogging can be fun, so just relax, take your time, and try to enjoy it. You might find there is another niche out there that needs some of your input..than another..and another, until you have a money making Internet empire!
